Max frame rate in 8, 10, and 12-bit mode
In most competing CMOS image sensors, the maximum frame rate is achievable only in 8-bit mode. When operating at higher bit depths such as 10-bit or 12-bit, the frame rate drops significantly because of sensor architecture.
Luxima’s Advantage
Luxima’s proprietary readout architecture and high-speed output design allow the maximum frame rate to be maintained across all bit depths—8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit. This means users can take advantage of the full dynamic range and precision of higher bit modes without sacrificing speed.
Key Benefits
- No frame rate penalty when increasing bit depth.
- Consistent performance across image quality modes.
- Greater flexibility for applications that require both high speed and high bit-depth precision.
