Oversee product sampling, testing, and qualification processes to ensure the quality, performance, efficiency, reliability, and utility of the company’s CMOS image sensor products. Develop comprehensive objectives, methods, and procedures for the testing of CMOS sensors and establish performance indicators and testing properties for components. Lead quality assurance testing of image sensor products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration. Develop and refine testing protocols to maintain product consistency and reliability and continuously improve operating procedures to streamline production processes. Analyze test results using Microsoft Excel and MATLAB and determine which performance indicators failed to meet established standards. Determine the root cause of errors and work with other engineers to develop solutions and improvements. Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth product transitions from development to mass production. Evaluate product returns from customers (RMA’s), perform root cause analysis, and prepare reports on defects and errors. Review the company’s production and manufacturing process and recommend improvements to increase product quality and production efficiency. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends in CMOS image sensor technology and make recommendations for future product development.
